Social injustice is a global phenomenon that has partly or completely degraded the lives of many people, most of all to those who have limited financial means. This situation prevents full development of each individual and determines the way of life of sufferers. As well as in the world there is social injustice, Colombia has its own history, facts that will undoubtedly have marked many and have left evidence of the great inequality that exists within this society.
Today can be seen in the daily life of Colombians, a clear gap between rich and poor. This reality was not given overnight but emerged from a process where the Colombian economy took a neoliberal model (less state intervention in the economy), thus replacing the welfare state and, finally opening the domestic market hastily without measuring the consequences for the long term. Large corporations such as multinationals have been those who have received the greatest benefits of this economic model established in Colombia since the 1990s, allowing them to take over the bulk of the market thus condemning many domestic companies into bankruptcy and turn to a lot of people to unemployment, poverty or even destitution. The big emerging social contrasts that allow sustain the phrase: "The rich richer while the poor are every day more stranded in their own condition"
The dreams of many people to improve their quality of life had been truncated by the economic mainstream that has been addressed and that is that the opportunities are to meet all the aspirations are scarce and practically which can be found are opposite to those wanted to be identified. This happens often in daily life and is a clear demonstration of this fact sale in the buses or in any corner of a given area. For example, some residents of the neighborhood el Paraizo, a place located in the east in the department of Valle del Cauca (Colombia) - decided, especially women, seize the area and the position of his town to create small restaurants or dining with the objective of generating income for their daily sustenance. Not looking for a complete equality between the people of the nation, because that would really be impossible unless it is imposed a communist regime to take a more equitable society. But this is too extreme a solution to the inequality that exists in Colombia. Perhaps, what is to be made is to end Neoliberalism, as it is a model that only benefits a few and the many leads to a life full of misery. Furthermore, because indirect between individuals promotes selfishness and jealousy, preventing that promotes a good neighbor. That's why it has to raise and promote a flow differently in order to transform the present (an exit somewhat difficult to accomplish, because the burghers of the day will be unwilling has lost its hegemony in society), a objective can be achieved if those who dream of a change are very clear, that man must, for its condition and its natural qualities, think, understand and dominate, not allowing the media or the environment in which I acted dominate his will and subjected to an entire people, but rather, must do everything that is not only at your disposal but also to contribute to the general welfare.
